About connections #
The central Connections area enables the management of connections to different cloud providers, that can be assigned inside XOAP to platform.XO and image.XO.
Add new Connection #
To add a new Connection, simply click on the “+” button on the right upper side of the overview. A new modal opens where you can choose from the following connection options:
AWS #
Currently, AWS connections support three different connection options.
- AWS-Access key
- AWS-Assume role
- AWS-Assume role (Cross-Account)

Azure #
Currently, Azure connections support the usage of Service Principals to connect to your Azure Subscriptions.

- Once created, the connection cannot be edited due to security reasons. If you need to change an entry, it needs to be removed and added again. All information is stored safely inside a vault dedicated to your Workspace in our backend.
Delete a connection #
Connections can be deleted by using ⚙️ in the specific row of the resource.
