We have an exciting update: the integration of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a Connection option. GCP is a suite of cloud computing services offered by Google, providing access to computing power, storage and advanced tools for building and scaling applications.

All XOAP users now have the option to take advantage of Google’s cloud infrastructure to run their applications and services.

Connect Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with XOAP

For the connection, you only need two parameters from your GPC: the Project ID and the JSON access key file of the specific Service Account. For more information on where to find your Project ID and how to create a JSON key file, please refer to these links:

To know how to add GCP as your connection in XOAP, check out our short video guide.

You can use the XOAP’s image.XO module to deploy your images to GCP and utilize Scripted Actions in platform.XO to run different scripts in your GCP environment. The process is pretty straightforward, but you can contact Support if you need help.

Why integrate Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with XOAP

With GCP’s global network of data centers, you can experience improved performance and reduced latency. Moreover, GCP’s autoscaling capabilities allow you to scale resources up or down based on demand.

This results in faster response times and the ability to handle fluctuations in demand without compromising performance. Another big plus of GCP is security. You can trust that your applications and data are always protected and compliant with industry standards.
