When does NIS2 come into effect?

The one‑year adjustment period for organizations under NIS2 ends in April 2026. By October 31, 2026, all organizations must have the required security measures fully implemented and operational. At that point, NIS2 compliance becomes enforceable in practice, as inspection activities and systematic checks can begin.
